A lot of my work for the Below chapter was polishing up the existing environments, set dressing any empty spaces, and addressing any animation and design needs. I also had the opportunity to help with the creation of the Power Reactor puzzle. I was responsible for creating the power breaker and cable assets, the base for the power reactor breaker switches (in addition to the rusted texture pass on the switches themselves). I worked with Tech Art, Rendering and Design to set up the cables to light up in sequence between each power breaker. While working on the puzzle, I handled set dressing in the Power Reactor and Maintenance rooms, material blending for the mud/walls/floors, asset creation for structural kit pieces holding up the cables and catwalks, polish for the general area, and any layout changes needed for design.

The Power Reactor area and the entire Below chapter was a collaborative effort between many different hands and disciplines. Kudos to the concept, design, animation, tech art, and VFX teams for making these assets come to life and look super cool! Thank you to Art Director Demetrius Leal, Environment Director Aasim Zubair, and my pod lead at the time Ryan Benno for their feedback and input while I worked in this area. Huge shoutout the everyone on the environment team that helped bring this level together!
