The Callisto Protocol: Arcas Colony

The Arcas Colony was easily one of my favorite areas to work on during my time on TCP. I handled the initial set dressing pass for a lot of the area traversed in Midtown and Hightown. I tried to use each building as an opportunity to tell some sort of narrative about the people that lived there. Alongside set dressing work, I was responsible for asset creation for a bunch of props and structural pieces used throughout the environment to help fill out the space and set up a variety of blueprints to help speed up the placement of debris and other assets. This was a super fun area to work in due of the sheer variety of assets I got to work on while assigned to this level!

Bringing everything together was a collaboration between many departments and people! So many different hands touched this area in some kind of way. Huge shoutout to fellow environment artists Mark Sheppard and Jon Cukjati for their efforts in this area, our environment director Aasim Zubair, and to the entire lighting team for really dialing in the mood and setting the tone for the whole area. Kudos the everyone on the environment team that helped bring this level together - I feel like everyone ended up touching it or making an asset for it at some point!
